Strutton House

The site on which the project sits is the steep face of a hill, with impressive views over Cairns and the Inlet. The critical part of the design brief was then to capture these views from as many rooms as possible.

The resulting design, stretches along the contours, minimising the cut into the sloped site. The plan is long and narrow, providing fantastic cross ventilation and viewing aspects from most rooms.

The deck is the heart of the home, connecting the pool with the internal living spaces. The house contains a separate office, granny flat with amenities and 4 additional bedrooms.
